Making the Best Filter Coffee

Filter coffee can be one of the most enjoyable fresh coffee experiences, being easy to drink throughout the day, making it a favourite in both office and in the home, if you follow some simple rules you will enjoy it at it’s best.

Rule 1

Always use fresh coffee and fresh cold water, after opening your coffee packet, reseal it using the tab provided and keep it in a cool place, or in a refrigerator in a container away from strong flavours.

Rule 2

Always make filter coffee just before it’s needed, don’t brew it for use later

Rule 3

Keep your machine and coffee jugs clean and the taste and flavour will be at its best, over time oils from the coffee brewing will build up on your filter basket and in the coffee jug.

Rule 4

Don’t be afraid to try different filter coffees to find the one that suits you.
